About Señor Mullisen:
My most important attribute is that I'm a sinner, saved by Christ's amazing mercy, and declared righteous by his amazing grace. I strive each day to live for Jesus and to work hard to bring glory to him, because I love him.
My beautiful wife is an amazing, essential part of my life, without whom I would be much, much less of a man. She is my true companion, and started Mullisen Spanish - she deserves the credit for our business! We were married in 2001, and have three beautiful daughters, who light up my world with laughter, beauty, and love.
I've been a public school teacher since 2002, when I received my teaching credential from Sacramento State University. My bachelor's degree is in Biological Sciences from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, with a minor in Spanish. Most of my Spanish I learned in high school and college, but was cemented during summer-long mission trips while I was at Cal Poly - the first trip was to Caracas Venezuela, and the other to Guatemala City, Guatemala. I also serve as a translator for my church when we go to Mexico during Easter break, which is one of the highlights of my year.
